“Coccinella” is a bed and breakfast/guesthouse with a family spirit
Located in the historic center of Sabaudia and close to the bus terminal, it is also on the route of the summer shuttle to the sea. The shoreline is only a twenty minute walk away. Well served by shops: supermarkets, newsstand, pharmacy, bars, pizzerias, tobacconists, hairdressers, etc. It is a modern residential structure with five rooms all with private bathroom, from single to family. Each accommodation has a free reserved parking space in our video-monitored parking lot, and a large terrace welcomes guests for breakfast.
Sabaudia is a city of foundation, a perfect example of Rationalist architecture, completely integrated within the Circeo National Park.
It boasts a long coastline and a beautiful beach, whose sea and dunes are part of the history of cinema, archaeological remains from various eras: Prehistory, Roman Imperial Era, the Eighteenth Century, up to a historical center born in the Twentieth Century.
A splendid lake (Lake Sabaudia, or Paola), used for sailing courses, international level canoeing and rowing competitions, and training during the winter period of teams from Northern Europe.
The other coastal lakes: Caprolace, Dei Monaci, and Fogliano. They have a rich and varied birdlife that frequents them during migration periods. You can observe: ducks, coots, cormorants, herons, flamingos, white storks, Italian knights, and sometimes the beautiful peregrine falcon.
The charming little church on the shores of Lake Paola, “Santuario della Sorresca”. With a history that starts from the Roman foundations, passing through the Knights Templar, up to the legend of the wooden statue of Santa Maria della Sorresca.
